FAQ

  • What do I treat?

As a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach, I am legally unable to diagnose or treat any medical condition. However, I can support you in addressing symptoms and optimizing how your body functions if you are diagnosed with a particular condition. Here’s a list of some of the conditions that I can help address: irritable bowel syndrome, thyroid conditions, chronic pain, poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), irregular periods, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, infertility, and more.

  • What is the process of working with me?

Prior to our first visit, you’ll complete paperwork and assessments to help me prepare for our work together. In the first visit, I’ll get a full health history and start putting together the puzzle of your health. In this initial visit, we’ll discuss dietary and lifestyle shifts, as well as testing options. From there we will meet each month to build a custom healing approach that’s just for you.

  • What will I have to do to feel better?

You need to be committed to the process and ready to make changes. Clients who work with me know that perfection is never the aim. However, making changes and sticking to them for a certain amount of time is important to truly shift imbalances in your body. In our work together, there will likely be phases to the process, which at times may feel easy and at times may feel more challenging. The long-term goal is that you have more freedom and are empowered to make choices with the knowledge of how it impacts your body and your health.

  • How long will it take to feel better?

Most of my clients work with me more intensively for the first 3 to 6 months. Let’s discuss what works for you, your lifestyle, and your budget. Then, they continue to work with me for more preventative health and tune ups seeing me every couple of months after that. It is my hope that through our work, you will come to value holistic nutrition and see it as a part of your preventative care like your annual well visit with your doctor.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I do not. However, you may be able to use an HSA/FSA to pay for some of the functional tests.

  • How much does it cost?

It all begins with a free 20-min call. There is paperwork to fill out and then we meet once or twice a month for one-hour Zoom calls. Each Zoom call is $100.
